Nissan Shows Autonomous VMotion 2.0 Concept in Detroit

In the next several years, Nissan will begin to showcase ProPILOT, its autonomous driving system in more and more concept cars. The first of these, the Vmotion 2.0 Concept, just debuted at the Detroit Auto Show. And while it has that system installed, this prototype also offers us a look at future Nissan designs.

At first blush, the Vmotion 2.0 looks like the Sports Sedan Concept from 2014. Blink a few times, and you’ll start to see the differences: the V-Motion grille shapes the nose, and the boomerang headlamps are more blended to the hood line. In the front, gaping air intakes give the car an aggressive air. While which design elements will make it to what car are something of a question mark, we noticed a very Altima-like shape to the car when viewed in profile.

As for what model the Vmotion prototype is foretelling, we’ll have to wait and see. When it comes to choosing your next car, however, let the experts at our Nissan dealership in Palatka, FL help! Contact our showroom at your convenience to learn more.
