Details on the Updated 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

The Nissan Pathfinder is known for sticking it to competition like the Toyota Highlander in recent years. Prior to the 2017 model year, the Pathfinder was an SUV that just fell short of the top of the market. This time around, the Japanese automaker isn't pulling any punches. With the release of the updated  2017 Nissan Pathfinder, the SUV breaks into the top of the market like never before.

For the 2017 model year, the Pathfinder boasts a revised style with changes to the headlights, taillights, front fascia, and body lines. The changes aren't enough to overhaul the entire design but they're certainly enough to give the SUV more character. Distinct LED lighting and a new "V-motion" grille give the Pathfinder a fierce new face as well.

By using a higher compression ratio, the new 3.5-liter V6 engine pumps out 284 hp and 259 lb-ft of torque. Coupled with a revised suspension, the Pathfinder's maximum towing capacity comes to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped.

Concerning technology, the 2017 Pathfinder gains a standard eight-inch touchscreen with improved voice recognition, as well as optional navigation on the SV and SL trims. NissanConnect adds in several remote services, like automatic collision notification and safe teen driver updates.

A new family entertainment package adds eight-inch screens to the front headrests, complete with HDMI and USB inputs for rear passenger entertainment.

Here at Beck Nissan, we're pumped to have the new 2017 Nissan Pathfinder in stock and ready to roll!
